Palisades Tahoe Tram Scenic
It all starts here
Climb over 2,000 feet with a bird's-eye view of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra.
The gateway to High Camp starts in the Village at Palisades Tahoe, where you'll embark on a 10-minute Aerial Tram ride and soar 550 feet above a mountainscape of creeks, waterfalls, forests, granite rock, and the iconic Tram Face. With 360 views and panoramic vistas of Lake Tahoe and an interpretive guide at the helm, your summer at Palisades Tahoe comes to life before you can even reach the top. The Aerial Tram will be open Memorial Day weekend and daily starting June 18.

Name Change

After extensive historical research, consultation with Native American groups, and outreach to our local and wider community, we have decided it is time to drop the derogatory and offensive term “squaw” from our resort’s name. Work to determine a new name will begin immediately and will culminate with an announcement of a new name in 2021.
