Be aware that you will need to provide Palisades Tahoe with insurance before your event dates. Minimum coverage starts at $2,000,000 liability and $4,000,000 aggregate, these minimums increase based on risk at your event to participants and are all established using the industry requirements.

COI Certificate Limits:
The guiding principle regarding how much coverage is required is the amount of exposure to the
Palisades Tahoe. Risk assessment is necessary for each activity, vendor, or promoter. There are three
levels of coverage. Coverage limits must be verified by Palisades Tahoe Health & Safety or Executive
Team Member.
Level 1 Coverage - Exposure: Low, minimal risk to customers, vendor employees, and other third parties
while on resort property. Example: equipment for renting or leasing, building maintenance, ski
instruction, and/or sampling product.
General Liability / Umbrella Limits:
• $2,000,000 – per Occurrence
• $4,000,000 – General Aggregate
• $1,000,000 – Products
• $1,000,000 – Personal and Advertiser’s Injury
• $1,000,000 – Blanket Contractual
• $50,000 – Fire Damage
Level 2 Coverage - Exposure: Medium; moderate risk to customers, vendor employees, and other third
parties while on resort property. Example: Events, Contractors who are performing substantial
renovations, using heavy machinery in base areas, working at heights, confined spaces, welding, or
impacting guests.
General Liability /Umbrella Limits:
• $3,000,000 – per Occurrence
• $5,000,000 – General Aggregate
• $3,000,000 – Products
• $3,000,000 – Personal and Advertiser’s Injury
• $3,000,000 – Blanket Contractual
• $100,000 – Fire Damage
Level 3 Coverage - Exposure: High, high risk to customers, vendor employees, and other third parties
while on resort property. Example: Sponsors or event production companies who are designing,
producing, promoting, or in any way participating in an event on the resort premises that has significant
interaction with resort customers or that has a high risk for participants, volunteers, and or other third
parties; or any vendor, contractor, or promoter/sponsor that uses mechanized vehicles or equipment in
public spaces on the mountain or at the base.

• $5,000,000 – per Occurrence
• $10,000,000 – General Aggregate
• $5,000,000 – Products
• $5,000,000 – Personal and Advertiser’s Injury
• $5,000,000 – Blanket Contractual
• $200,000 – Fire Damage
***Any of the above limits may be modified upwards depending on the anticipated exposure. A
downward modification of limits must be pre-approved.***
Village at Palisades Tahoe Policy- Palisades Tahoe Resort and The Village at Palisades Tahoe are separate entities and require separate contracts and insurance. We are happy to connect you to the correct representative if you desire to work with The Village at Palisades Tahoe.
- Palisades Tahoe Resort does not provide lodging or transportation for The Village at Palisades Tahoe shoots but will try to help facilitate upon request.
Drone/Unmanned Aerial System Policy
Out of safety concerns for guests, employees, and resort property, as well as concerns for individual privacy, Palisades Tahoe Resort prohibits the operation or use of unmanned aerial systems, or drones, by the general public – including recreational users and hobbyists – without the prior written authorization from the Palisades Tahoe Resort. This prohibition includes drones used for filming or videotaping which includes, except in the certain circumstances described below, no commercial or editorial drone use by media or journalists operating from, on or above resort property. Any authorized operation of aerial drones may be governed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules and regulations, local law enforcement, and/or the U.S. Forest Service, as well as those policies separately established by this resort, which may include certification, training, insurance coverage, indemnification requirements, waivers, or releases of liability. Any violation of this policy may involve suspension of your skiing or snowboarding privileges, or the revocation of your season pass, as well as confiscation of any drone equipment, and may subject violators to any damage, including, but not limited to, damages for violations of privacy and/or physical or personal injuries or property damage, as well as regulatory fines and legal fees.
If approved:
Every Resort-authorized drone operator (“Pilot”) shall be responsible for complying with all of the following at all times (in addition to all other requirements set forth in the Access Agreement):
- Each Pilot must hold a valid FAA certification as Remote Pilot Airman with a Small Unmanned Aircraft System rating.
- In addition to Resort-imposed restrictions, which may be more stringent, all Pilots must comply with all FAA regulations and applicable state and local laws, rules, and regulations, if any.
- Pilot shall not perform over-flight of any other person and no flight path shall intersect any area within the corridor of any
Resort lifts, meaning all airspace within an area bounded by the vertical planes that are situated five hundred (500) feet beyond the outermost surfaces of every lift, gondola, tram, funitel, tower, loading station, terminal, and all appurtenances there to, from ground level upward to infinity.
- If Resort approves a request that includes persons present for over-flight, Resort may, in its sole discretion, establish safety requirements above and beyond those required by the FAA.to, from ground level upward to infinity.

- All drones must be registered with the FAA and shall not exceed a maximum weight of 55 pounds.
