Hiking
Some of the region's best hikes are right here at Palisades Tahoe. In Olympic Valley near the base of Palisades, hike the three fairly strenuous miles to High Camp on the Shirley Canyon Trail and take the Aerial Tram down for free!

Fly Fishing
Be sure to get a valid license before you try your hand at fishing! The closest spot to get a license near Palisades Tahoe is Swiggards Hardware in Tahoe City. Some top fishing spots in our area include the Truckee River and Pyramid Lake.

In Truckee, you can access the free Truckee Skate Park that is open to all ages. They're even planning an expansion!
