Join the Alpine Patrol team for Beacon & Eggs on Easter morning.

Avalanche beacons will be buried in a one-acre area and competitors will work individually or in teams of up to four people to locate them. Competitors can redeem a found beacon for prizes from the supporters below. Prizes include gift certificates, gear and a 24/25 Palisades Tahoe season pass. This is a free event and registration takes place at the top of Subway chair from 10am -11:30am and the beacon search starts at noon. Guests should bring their own avalanche beacon, probe and shovel. Sierra Avalanche Center will have a booth at the event and the Alpine Avalanche Rescue Foundation (AARF) dogs and handlers will be there for a dog search demonstration.
