Sledding

Sledding is not permitted on the slopes or anywhere on Palisades Tahoe property for safety reasons. This applies to any type of device that can be used for sledding including, but not limited to, sleds, toboggans, tubes or saucers, and other devices such as shovels, pads, or trays. Any violations of this policy may result in suspension of lift privileges or prosecution for trespass.

However, North Lake Tahoe offers various alternative locations where you can enjoy sledding fun. You can head to the following places for sledding adventures:

Everline Resort: Everline Resort allows sledding near the base of Resort Chair. It is a very low-angle terrain that is good for small children.

Granlibakken Tahoe: This resort in Tahoe City has a dedicated sled hill where you can enjoy thrilling sledding adventures. They provide sled rentals, making it convenient for visitors to enjoy the snowy slopes.

Tahoe City Winter Sports Park: Located at the Tahoe City Golf Course, this park offers a designated sledding area perfect for family fun. Bring your own sleds and enjoy the open slopes suitable for sledding and tubing.
