Join us for the year end NASTAR Championships!
Race against friends, family & other skiers on our NASTAR racecourse located at the top of Shirley Lake's Jimmie Heuga Express run.
In celebration of Mikaela Shiffrin's historic World Cup win record last season, Palisades Tahoe and select Ikon Pass destinations have committed to making recreational ski race courses FREE for the rest of this winter and beyond. Participants can compete within their age and gender to win platinum, gold, silver, and bronze medals. Racers that are top-ranked in their group can qualify to compete in the 2025 NASTAR Championships. See nastar.com for more details.
Details:
- NASTAR Races every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10am – 1pm
- This course is FREE. Go to nastar.com and select "register." There is no charge for registering. You need a NASTAR number to race the course
- Races held at the top of Shirley Lake Express on Jimmie Heuga Express Run
- 2 runs combined
- Medals will be given out 1st - 3rd per gender/per class at NASTAR at 1:30pm
- Ages 5-12
- Ages 13-20
- Ages 21-40
- Ages 41-60
- Ages 61 and up
- Hours are subject to change due to weather
